The championship 18-hole Coronado Municipal Golf Course, with a new clubhouse and immaculate greens, offers some of the finest golfing in the world. Located on San Diego Bay with palm trees and oleanders lining the fairways, the 72-par course is as scenic as it is convenient. The 130-acre course is the closest course to San Diego's airport and is open seven days a week.
Full 18-hole course play is 6,633 yards; 3,382 on the front nine; and 3,251 on the back nine. Tee times can be called in two days in advance beginning at 7:00 a.m. Call (619) 435-3121 ext. 3. Lottery draw begins at 6:30 a.m. at the starter's booth at the course. Tee times can be booked two weeks in advance, but not less than three days. A $30 non-refundable credit-card hold is required. This fee does not apply toward green fees.
